Which document is your photo for?
Every authority has its own specification. Below the most common ones asked by TU Delft students and staff. Not sure? Just walk in and we'll figure it out together.
IND residence permit
Format: 35 × 45 mm, light grey background, ICAO norm
Note: Bring your V-number if you have one. We produce IND-compliant photos daily.
US visa
Format: 2 × 2 inch (51 × 51 mm), pure white background
Note: Different specs from a Dutch passport. We know the US Consulate rules.
Indian passport / OCI
Format: 51 × 51 mm, white background, no glasses
Note: For OCI card, passport renewal or visa applications at VFS Global.
Schengen visa
Format: 35 × 45 mm, white background
Note: For visits to the Netherlands and other Schengen states.
Dutch passport / ID card
Format: 35 × 45 mm, light grey background, ICAO norm
Note: Fotomatrix Model 2020: face width 16-20 mm, chin to crown 26-30 mm from age 11 (19-30 mm up to age 10), grey, light blue or white background, no glasses in our shop. Valid at the Delft municipality.
DUO / OV-chipkaart / student ID
Format: Digital upload in the exact required pixel size

I'm a TU Delft student. Where can I get a proper passport photo?
At De Hoven shopping centre (Martinus Nijhofflaan 16). From TU Delft campus you cycle there via the Mekelweg and Kruithuisweg, or take a bus towards De Hoven.
Do you make photos that meet Dutch IND / residence-permit requirements?
Yes. IND photos follow the same ICAO norm as the Dutch passport (35×45 mm, light grey background, neutral expression). We produce these daily and can also deliver a digital copy for online applications.
Can you produce photos for embassies (US, India, China, Schengen)?
Yes. We regularly make 2×2 inch photos for US visas, 51×51 mm for Indian passport/OCI, and standard 35×45 mm for Schengen, UK and most other embassies. Tell us the country and document type. We know the specs.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in during opening hours. Most students are done within 5 minutes.
What does a passport photo cost?
€ 14.95 for a set of official prints, handed to you right away. Digital delivery is available on request.
Can you deliver a digital copy for online applications (DUO, IND, embassies)?
Yes. We can email a digital copy in the exact pixel dimensions the application requires. Just tell us which portal you'll upload to.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Most of our international customers come from TU Delft, DSM or the Delft Technology Park. We're used to explaining specs in English.
What if my photo gets rejected by IND or an embassy?
We reshoot for free. We're RDW-recognised and know the ICAO norm inside out. Rejections are very rare, and when they happen we fix them at no cost.
